“Charlie” was about 4 weeks old, feral, and had to be trapped with his 3 sisters, from under a house. Their feral mom was found dead. All 3 of his sisters have been adopted but poor “Charlie” was still fearful for quite a while longer. We think it may have been due to hormonal problems when a male has one testicle that never dropped. At any rate, he has been neutered and he has come a long way. We are going to let him get used to other people now. An adopter will need to understand that he will take time to come to you on his terms. Once he finds out who feeds him, he will purr all over your legs. Don't pick him up right away, or even try, lol. He WILL let you soon. Check out his video and decide if you can love him just the way he is and wait patiently to let him trust and love you. He MUST, however, stay inside the home. He knows nothing else. Feeling safe will calm him and allow him to come to you sooner.
Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good for Seniors/Elderly, Does not require a yard, Apartment OK, Skittish, Affectionate
Special Needs: Charlie needs patience to get to know you at first. He was feral so this is understandable. He also does little love bites so don't take him wrong but do act like it hurts to let him know...Might not be good with children since they will often try to play or grab and Charlie might not be the playing type of cat unless it is using a laser or a wand with a feather, especially at first. PLEASE, DO NOT PUT HIM OUTSIDE. If you are not patient enough to wait for him to warm up to you, we will take him back.
