Piedmont Pound Paws, Inc. AKA "PPP" is a 501(c)(3) licensed, foster based, pet rescue located in Southeast Missouri.

"PPP" began as an informal group of volunteers working together to find loving and responsible adopters or other licensed rescues for animals that were unfortunate enough to find themselves in the Piedmont, Mo City (kill) pound. Over time, homeless pets, in extended areas, often including the Missouri counties of Wayne, Reynolds, Iron, Butler, Bollinger, and Carter were also helped. Today, after almost 10 years of keeping pets from being euthanized, we continue while educating the community and helping to find resources for low income families so that they may responsibly care for their pets. "Piedmont Pound Paws, Inc." expanded to become state licensed, a foster based, pet rescue, while volunteers continued as "Piedmont Paw Protectors," and now called "Paw Angels," still working with the Piedmont MO City pound and as the rescue division when space or foster homes are available. When we have pets available for adoption, we have events currently at the PetCo in Farmingotn, MO.

This site is specifically for the purposes of adoptions from the rescue. Donations and Adoption fees are used to fund the veterinarian care and the costs to care for many animals, as well as help the pound, when needed, and to help low income owned pets to afford vetting services, when funds are available. "PPP" continues to work in a multi-tasked way, covering many areas where there is the need concerning homeless, lost, found, or low-income owned pets, with the same goal to find/maintain responsible, loving homes for as many pets as possible.

Adoptions are not enough to cover so many tasks required so donations are badly needed as well as reliable volunteers/fosters.
