Meet Hera:

Hera joined our crew with her sister Venus and fellow lost soul Hercules this past winter.  She is a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell with the daintiest markings.  Hera is both patient and gentle, preferring to snuggle over a wrestling match.  She loves a good soft bed to sleep on, and can often be found in her little pink “house” on the bed, or up on top of the kennels in one of the oversized fluffy pet beds. A round of head petting or side pets will earn you a fresh batch of “biscuits” as it sets off her need to knead and a good, loud purr.  She gets along with nearly everyone in the cat room, as long as they are playing nice.  She will retreat from any cat that likes to roughhouse.  She is also a bit of a talker when she’s missing attention and wanting you to pay attention to her.  She’s a lady that knows what she wants. And right now, that’s to be loved and adopted by someone with the time to give her attention, hold her, pet her, and make sure she gets her share of treats.  And most importantly, for someone to give her a forever home just like her sister got this summer.  Today, it’s Hera’s turn.
