Noel's previous owner was not able to take care of her and her step siblings. She's an older cat but still has a lot of love to give. Once you get to know her and she gets to know you, you will see. She prefers a quieter home with no constantly active children so that pretty much eliminates most younger children. An older person would be great as long as there is a backup plan if something should happen to the owner.
