Rocky is an absolutely good cat. The previous owner had financial problems and could not afford her pets. He would likely do well with and older person although he has lived with other cats and dogs. He's been around children although Rocky prefers more quiet so maybe older children might be better. He is strictly an inside cat.

He’s not been real social when at the PetCo cat windows. We’re thinking an interested adopter could do a foster to adopt situation to give him time to feel comfortable. Please don’t judge him when he is hiding.

We have found out recently that he is not comfortable with men, even when the men are good with most pets, including cats. We don't know why because he had lived with a man that was not known to be abusive at all so Rocky must have had a bad experience long before his owner had him. We don't want any man to take offense and we don't want Rocky to hide his life away so we prefer only females to be his owners.
