Poppers is very timid at first meeting and is going to take time to feel safe. We are fairly confident that what we know about him is accurate but will not likely fully show it until he has had a few days to come out of that shell he goes in when moved to another place. He was not very lucky to have been passed around to people who could not really afford to take care of a dog. Thank goodness the last couple looked for rescue so that he could find his fur-ever home.
If you are looking for a sweet, calm, good natured little one who is happy to cuddle or just be where you are, he’s certainly the one for you. His sweetness is a calming presence but is ready to play, as it seems, after just a few days of getting acquainted.
