Azlan was rescued from a rural kill pound, after a longer than usually allowed wait for adoption or rescue.

We can't adopt out of Missouri unless you are willing to meet and greet in Missouri. There would be an extra charge for a Health Certificate that is required in order to be transported over state lines.

COPING WITH COVID-19: Because of the hold on adoption events in the pet stores, we are processing adoption applications strictly on line. An application must be submitted 1st before we will begin the process. The application will not be binding until the adoption is final. We will likely do a lot of communication online, by text or Facebook PM or even by phone. We will be asking you to send us a video tour of your home, showing where the pet will be living and of your yard, if applicable. Meet and greets will likely also be quite different, using masks, plastic gloves, Clorox wipes, maintaining the appropriate social distance, and anything that will keep everyone safe. As soon as we receive and review your application, a volunteer will contact you ASAP.
