Special Needs: Buddy has apparently been treated badly while eating his dinner before we got him or whatever causes aggression concerning food. We have experimented to see what level of food aggression he has and this is what we know: He will sit for treats out of your hand. AND he will even eat his food from your hand. However, once the food is on the floor or in his bowl, until it is gone, he will snap if you go near him and his food. That means you can't even walk past him. We have seen no other aggression related to anything else...well he chases cats...so he likely cannot be fed with kids around unless he is strictly kept in a crate and safe from any human or animal, while he eats and until he has been sufficiently worked with. You MUST understand this before we can adopt him out. Other wise he has been the typical sweet dog that would make a good family pet, with one flaw.
