Poor Mama Mia was found pregnant, roaming around town, and a Good Samaritan picked her up to shelter her while having her kittens. She had them and everything seemed to be going well but one by one, 3 of 4 did not survive and the 4th was not getting any milk so it was given to a nursing mother and has survived. Mama Mia seemed pretty lonely and meanwhile Piedmont Pound Paws had 4 feral kittens that had no mama. Although the feral kittens were eating fairly well, the thought came to see if Mama Mia’s calm nature might calm the feral kittens down. That didn't go so well, but with humans, she is a doll. Pets handle grief differently and I suppose that for her, she only wants humans.
