Isaac had a rough start...he showed up at a ministry as a stray, polluted with parasites inside and out, and he was severely malnourished! He was taken to the vet for a check up and shots then brought back to bathe him daily and fatten him up. Somehow he broke his left front leg so we kept him through the healing process. He runs, jumps, and plays so it seems to be okay now. He was an outside dog, for the most part, but was in a crate to help with confinement while his leg healed so he is crate trained. He uses a doggy door and has never had an accident in the apartment, but without a doggy door, we can’t say that he is officially housebroken. He would need to be trained to his new home, but being crate trained, it will likely be fairly easy. He is a very sweet dog and a little shy (which is to be expected taking into account what his life must have been prior to coming to us. Please feel free to share with anyone who may be looking for a 4-legged addition to their family!
