Roxie loves to be active. This soothes her active heart. She seems to do the best when she can have a large space, perhaps a farm, but not mandatory, and an active dog or human friend. If not a farm, at least a 4 foot fenced in yard, unless supervised, leashed, or a dog park.

OMG ROXIE!!! We never understand how or why no one claims these sweet dogs when they seem to get dumped and just left. But, we do understand there are sometimes higher forces behind the things we don't understand. SO, whoever falls in love with her and adopts her is going to be one lucky human being.

She is ready for her fur-ever family, spayed, totally vaccinated for everything, on preventatives, wormed...have I forgotten anything??? Oh yes, heartworm tested negative.

To get in on the race, you can submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION for pre-approval. We often have to take applications early because ROCK STARS like this get so many applications, it is VERY hard to say "yes" to everyone even when many are VERY good.

Our adoption fees are $280/dogs and $120/cats (additional processing fees may apply), which attempts to cover the costs of spay/neuter, micro-chipping, de-worming, veterinary health exam, heartworm testing, FIV/FeLK testing, up-to-date flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, and up-to-date & age-appropriate vaccinations.
