Hi, my name is Tucker. I am a 7 month old Pointer mix. I was found by my foster parents at a gas station rummaging through the trash. There was some nice people who gave me snacks but I was still looking for food. When my foster parents came back out of the gas station the clerk had told them that my owners had dumped me there and left. But I got lucky when my Foster parents came along. They were headed to town to do some shopping and even then they didn't leave me. They put me in their truck and took me with them. That night I got to walk through a few stores with them. That's when they knew I was such a good boy. and even better, I had a warm home and bed to sleep in and then even better they gave me a nice warm bath. That night I got to sleep with my foster parents human girls and I loved it. I still sleep with my sissy human every night. They helped show me what real love was. As of today, I have been with them a month so they could make sure I was healthy for my new forever home. In that time I have learned how to go into a crate and use the doggy door. My foster parents were super happy with me when they learned I was house trained. They have already had me fixed, microchipped, and have me current on my vaccines, including my rabies. I was heart worm tested and I was negative so I have been started on heart worm as well as flea and tick prevention. I get along with all my fosters other doggies and puppies. I haven't been around cats. I do have to have my own bowl to eat out of since I am still learning to share if you have other doggies, but if you give me my own bowl, I am fine. My foster dad is trying to teach me how to share and I've come a long ways since they brought me home. I am leash trained and love to go for walks or hikes, and I really love to go for car rides. I am a pretty laid back boy for my age. I love to play outside but if it's too cold, you can find me laying on my dog bed in the living room. My foster parents tell me how proud they are of me for how far I've come since they found me. Since I am healthy I am ready to find my forever family. Dog/puppy adoption fee is $280 (additional processing fees may apply), which attempts to cover the costs of spay/neuter, micro-chipping, de-worming, veterinary health exam, heartworm testing, up-to-date flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, and up-to-date & age-appropriate vaccinations.
